Recent SRJC Stories:
1949-1950 Football Team - A 12-0 winning record brought the team together, but their love of SRJC, the team and football has kept these friendships going for the last 63 years.
MaryEllen and Gianfranco Silipo - Cupid's arrow hit these two lovebirds in the Fall of 1967 while attending classes at SRJC together.
To score the number one most requested country song in Bay Area radio is a feat usually reserved for the likes of well-known Nashville names and acts. Pete Stringfellow hit the top of the charts with his hit country song Santa Rosa in 2006 and hasn't stopped since.
Ashley Rosales was recently named the 2013 Emerging Dietetic Leader from the California Dietetic Association (photo to the right).
Poor high school grades turned out to be a blessing in disguise for Tim Sergent.
Developing his writing skills at SRJC helped Walter Linares succeed as a Marketing & Sales Coordinator for the Sacramento Kings.
ABOUT THE ASSOCIATION
SRJC Alumni & Friends creates events, awards student scholarships and connects alumni and supporters in the community to the College.
Volunteers attend SRJC events to promote Alumni & Friends, help select scholarship and other award winners, increase membership benefits and coordinate social, professional and reunion events. Alumni are encouraged to get involved for mentoring opportunities, to serve on career panels, support graduation/commencement and more!
