FileMaker Pro Server Down (Updated)

UPDATE (1:14PM)

FileMaker Pro is back up and running normally. 

 

The server for FileMaker Pro and the databases have been restored and everything should be working normally.  Thank you for your patience while we resolved the issue.

The database server for FileMaker Pro has suffered a failure and is being rebuilt.  All the databases are backed up, safe and will be restored. 

We expect the server to be back up and running by noon Tuesday, February 17.

Who is Impacted

Anyone using any of the applications that reference FileMaker Pro database files will not be able to access the database files.

What you need to do

Please be patient while rebuild the server, restore the database and restore access.  We regret any impact this will have on your work.  We are continuously working to make our systems, processes and procedures more resilient and reliable, and appreciate your understanding as we address this situation.

There will be a follow up announcement once the server is back up and running.

Notice: SharePoint Server Issue

The IT Department is working on issue with the SharePoint server.

We will send out an update when the server is available for use.

Escape Down This Morning

The Escape system will be down Friday morning from 8 to 9:30 am for the latest update.

RESOLVED: BUS-HOME2 Back Up Again

The file share server, BUS-HOME2, that was down this morning has been repaired and is working again. You will need to reboot your computer and login again before your network drives will work. If you are still experiencing a problem after you reboot, please let us know at the help desk at x1765.

BUS-HOME2 File Server is Down

One of the SRJC file servers, BUS-HOME2, is down and not accessible for the moment. You may get messages about not being able to connect to your shared drive, home directory, or other errors related to BUS-HOME2. IT is aware of the issue and is currently working on resolving it. We will post updates to the blog when we know more.
