Education: Graduate of Santa Monica College in 1967. Earned both Bachelors (1969) and Masters degree at UCLA (1971).
Experience: Sixteen years as Vice President, Administrative Services and Chief Business Officer at Glendale Community College. Previous19 years in the Los Angeles Community College District. 12 years as Director of Budget, with several interim appointments as Vice Chancellor of Business Services. Was interim Vice President for Administration at West Los Angeles College.
Professional Activities: Served on ACCCA Legislation and Finance Commission, the WACUBO Two Year College Committee, and the ACBO Board of Directors. Past President of ACBO and past Chair of ACCCA’s Commission on Finance and Legislative Advocacy. Served on the Board of ASCIP, a property and liability JPA, and the Board of the CCLC Retiree Health Benefits JPA.
Awards: Walter Star Robbie Award from ACBO as Outstanding Chief Business Officer for 2003.
