A beginning hands-on course which focuses on using web authoring tools to create and manage professional quality Internet or Intranet sites without programming. Students will use web authoring tools to plan, design and publish Web sites on the World Wide Web. Web authored planning and design topics include using a Web editor to create Web site structures, set page / Web site properties, apply text styles, paragraph styles, graphics features, hyperlinks, standard tables and forms. Web authored site management topics include managing web folders, applying themes and frames, web components, navigation bars, shared borders, global revisions, cross-browser compatibility, web site analysis and publishing the entire Web site to a remote host WWW server.
