Flatbed Scanner
HP ScanJet II
Color & B/W Photographs
Any kind of photographic image can be scanned. The only limit is it's size. Logically, the best scans come from large, high quality original prints. Photographs taken with poor quality cameras, lenses and film are difficult to work with.
The detail you can achieve is amazing (given that you started with quality). There is a saying which holds quite true when it comes to scanning; "Garbage in, garbage out!".
