Negatives

The SprintScan 35 will accept 35mm standard negative strips (up to 6 negs. wide). You choose the TYPE of film used, such as Kodak Gold or B & W Negative, etc. and the scanner automatically scans a positive color/temprature corrected image. PATH determines the output resolution.

There is little difference in using this scanner software for slides or negatives. You determine beforehand which film type to use. For examples, see Slides Page -the examples are actually from a negative. To load the negative into the holder:

Open the holder and lay the negative down, being careful to not touch the image area. Load the holder into either side of the scanner, emulsion-side to the rear and upside-down. Align the desired negative window with the center of the scanner.
