Answer the following questions:
The above propositions occur in or could be inferred from the argument Socrates
and Protagoras engage in their second round (348b--360e). They are a.) either
granted by Protagoras without argument, b.) granted by Protagoras after
a line of argumentation, c.) are not granted but are being argued for, d.)
or do not occur. Identify which by the given letters and cite the paragraph
numbers and lines when appropriate. Also, try to infer F and H yourself.
Note that H is the conclusion Socrates is trying to reach. He could reach
it using I--can you see how? But he certainly doesn't want to. Why? On the
other hand, Socrates doesn't need to prove H because to achieve his immediate
goal which is to disprove the statement made by Protagoras at 349d, he merely
has to prove its contradictory which is ........which of the above propositions?
