Welcome!
NCCSEM, a member chapter of The Society for Ethnomusicology, promotes the research, study and performance of music in all historical periods and cultural contexts. We welcome the participation of students, faculty, performers, independent researchers, and anyone interested in promoting ethnomusicology. Visiting a different location every year, our chapter meets each spring for a day of formal papers, panels, performances and socializing.
