yeah, the president'd be me. :) haven't
seen myself on TV yet, but i know it's
aired a few times, and I hear the faculty
choked like crazy. we'll also be in our school
newspaper... they're rushing the paper through for this. I'm busy
e-mailing some local radio stations.
My VP, btw, to give credit where credit is due, was the one who found
this after poring over the ed code for TWO HOURS. haha. my only
worry is that i never had time, in the
thick of everything, to talk to my faculty advisor about this... he's
going to KILL me. oops. he's
our only republican. :(
..you have no idea how badly teh faculty has twisted this. All we need do now
is wait for them to oppress us more, liek try to take away our charter, and we'll
smack sean hannity
and the o'reilly factor on them. this is just in time for one of our senators
introducing the academic bill of rights in April. :) this, btw, means that i
have to work REALLY hard in my history class so taht
I can prove I deserved an A... hehe.
We weren't going to take credit for this untl
2 hours before the press confernece, when
we realized taht the faculty had put
motions about this on the agendas of ten academic senates in Cali, and were calling the
media themselves. Then we decided we better step forward, but the
anonymous tactic definitely worked. too bad
they're so intimidated by a brief reminder of what the law says.. not even an accusation or warning! I thought
they'd kidn of laugh it off.. but I guess that's
what would have happened had I signed it "College
Republicans."
If you want to see exactly what i posted on
the doors, e-mail me at srjcgop@freedom.usa.com and I'll send it right
over.
crossposted all over the place...
