The web site listing below is only a partial list of Internet web sites and other areas about QuickBASIC that I have found useful.....some more useful than others. These change all the time, and some of the sites listed below may not even exist the next time you try to access them. I have set bookmarks for myself for each of those listed below. If you find others that are particularly useful, please E-mail them to me.
There is so much information on the Internet about QuickBASIC because many people are still using QuickBASIC to develop applications.
You can put QuickBASIC into a search from Yahoo (http://www.yahoo.com/) or other Internet search engine and you will get hundreds of areas to look at..... for example when I typed QuickBASIC into Yahoo today, I got 158 matches, including some of those listed below, and many more....and it will change daily!!!!
There are several use groups that you can join that provide newsletters, chat areas, and/or digests of various E-mails between subscribers. You can also access on-line magazines about QuickBASIC.
As you can see, there is a wealth of information out on the Internet. Just remember, some of these are very technical, and others must be taken with a grain of salt. Just because it is “on the Net” doesn’t mean that the person knows what they are talking about!
Note to my students at Santa Rosa Junior College: Most of the info below can be accessed either from our lab or from your own computer. The only exception that I am aware of is that you can not join the Usenet groups when working in the lab, because you don’t have a unique id, but instead are going onto the Web as “anonymous”.
