Installing WS_FTP

Please note - if you already have a recent version of WS_FTP installed on your computer skip ahead to the section on using WS_FTP

Before you begin visit the Ipswitch Website to obtain a 21 day trial version of the software.

Step 1 - Install WS_FTP on your local PC

After downloading the software this image should appear on your desktop, double click on the icon.

Select the install radio button and then click the "next" button

Now locate the directory where you would like to install the software. Many Students have a Programs or Applications directory they use to store all their software.

Choose the interface you wish to use. I recommend you select "Classic Two Window Interface"

To complete installation of WS_FTP Pro you need to restart your computer.
