Lesson 3/4 > Photos and Logos

We begin the lesson by discussing techniques for editing images. Problems such as "red eye", dust and scratches, dark areas of a photo or color distortion are discussed.

Next students create a unique logo for the campus site created in the previous class and the current client (either the travel agency or a client you have developed.) Students will also be asked to take one of these logos and create 3 versions which are sized at 200 pixels, 100 pixels and 50 pixels.

There will also be demonstrations of how to create a photo collage or photo effects. Students will be asked to follow these demonstrations and then place 2 collages on a Web page. Students may choose to add a photo collage to one of the 3 clients, however that is optional not required.

Here are examples of professional logos :: example 1 :: example 2 :: example 3
