Michelle Auteuil • European Horticultural Designs

Ron Ramirez

Miss Auteuil was born and raised in Aups, France. She studied in Paris and came to California for a visit and fell in love with how much it reminds her of the French countryside. Her classic design background mixes well with her genteel country roots. Miss Auteuil organizes the annual Farrell College Harvest Faire, which in 2006 donated over 200,000 to the college scholarship fund.

Garrett Jackson • Commercial Landscape Architecture

Mr. Jackson's design portfolio includes designs for Disney Studios and the San Diego Wildlife Park. He is credited with many award winning green designs and received the Farrell College Design Excellence award. Mr. Jackson also teaches field studies abroad summer session. Marilyn Lowe • Organic Agricultural Studies

Mrs. Lowe is veteran organic gardener with over thirty years experience working with commercial agricultural development in Central California. She now considers a few hundred students per semester quite a lovely retirement. Mrs. Lowe has authored eleven books in the span of her career has is three time winner teacher of the year since 2000.

Kristin Nakamura • Japanese & Water Garden Designs

Mrs. Lee heads the Japanese Horticultural Studies Department which maintains the Farrell College Japanese Seven-Pool Water Gardens. She and her staff have also recently finished a three year design installment of the new Traditional Japanese Shade Gardens adjacent to the tranquil water gardens. Funding for the shade gardens addition by Mr. and Mrs. Yamamatzu, Santa Rosa, CA.

Ron Ramirez • Classic Gardening

Ron Ramirez

Mr. Ramirez is a classic gardens specialist and lead designer in charge of the design and maintenance of the Farrell College Rose Gardens. He also owns and operates a 10 acre teaching garden located only one quarter mile from the college where he grows over seventy varieties of exotic south american orchids. He also is an expert mushroom hunter.
