Site will be designed so that all navigation, the site name, and logo, and several paragraphs of content will fit on an 1024 by 768 monitor (I recommend a width of 955 - 600 pixels to allow for a scroll bar along the right edge and browser navigation at the top.)
Millions of colors may be used.
Layout will be done in CSS - nested table layout with image slices is no longer supported by the program.
Template must work in current versions of IE, Firefox, Opera, and Safari and one previous version. The sites must look acceptable in each of these browsers, they do not need to look identical, that may prove to be an impossible task.

All pages must pass the validator at http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validator under CSS 2.0 Standards

Examples and Explanations of the Comps process
A comp is a flattened GIF or JPEG which is created in Photoshop and then optimized for display on the Web. The PSD file will have numerous layers, however the JPEG or GIF will be a single image which is a snapshot of the finished site.
