Handoff Lesson - final preview
Final presentation Overview:
held May 22nd 2012 in room 1809 of Baker Hall
-
Here is an overview of what happens during the final presentation.
- One team member bookmarks the site before
presentation begins.
- We present in the order shown in the program (coming soon)
- Each group has 10 minutes (5 minutes for the team and 5 for the client)
- PM introduces group and project - explains their job and
the site goals (strategic brief may help)
- Designer explains rationale for look and feel of site (creative
brief may help)
- Programmer explains programs and shows any relevant pages
(technical
brief may help)
- CDs explain their job, how they built the pages
- Each person explains what they learned from the team experience
- Team needs to decide on what pages are shown, as well as
who is the person who sits and shows the pages as various
folks talk. A typical scenario is for
the CD to sit and access the pages until it is their turn to talk at which
point another team member will sit and click on pages. If during the presentation
there is some confusion about what pages would be displayed the presenter
can simply ask for a certain page to be accessed
- You may want to review the comments
of former students before you prepare you remarks
- I will send an email to the clients with suggestions for their final remarks.
- After the team presentation is finished we all start summer....
