WELCOME

The Work Experience classes at Santa Rosa Junior College connect college education to the workplace. The classes focus on learning and demonstrating 21st century work skills.

National and local employers have identified these skills as mandatory to being successful in any type of job. Three of the top skills they have identified include: communication, teamwork, and customer service.

STEPS TO ENROLLING IN A WORK EXPERIENCE CLASS

• For help in selecting the right class, CLICK HERE
• Be employed by a properly licensed business
• Register for the class through SRJC Weblink
  
• Complete the required Employment Information Form
• Complete Orientation, required of all students at the beginnig of the semester. Choices include in-class Orientation (see schedule below) OR the Orientation DVD found in the front of your Work Experience Handbook
• After completing orientation, submit CREDIT FORM found in your handbook or online.

SUMMER SEMESTER:

1. Students must pick up a Work Experience handbook:

*Handbooks available in Santa Rosa at the Work Experience office, 1440 Bussman Hall (Monday - Thursday, 8 am - 5 pm)

*Handbooks in Petaluma available at the Admissions and Records office, 608 Call Hall.

3. ALL STUDENTS ENROLLED IN A WORK EXPERIENCE CLASS MUST COMPLETE
AN (EIF) EMPLOYER INFORMATION FORM.
