Weekend College’s Accelerated Degree Program concentrated format allows you to earn an associate degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences in five consecutive semesters. Earning a college degree couldn’t be more convenient! You’ll find accessible parking and services that support your success every step of the way.

A Cohort of Students - When you enroll in the Weekend College Accelerated Degree Program you will become a member of a unique group of students that progress through all classes together. Tutoring, counseling, library access and other student services are available to support your success every step of the way, plus you can create study groups with other students enrolled in the same program.

Convenient Class Schedule – The Weekend College Accelerated Degree Program meets for 14 weekends a semester on Friday evenings and all day Saturday. In addition, you’ll be participating in at least one online class each semester.

Associate Degree – The Weekend College Accelerated Degree Program offers selected courses that fulfill the lower division major requirements for the Associate in Arts, Social and Behavioral Sciences degree.

Highly Affordable – Enrollment fees are only $20 per unit for California residents. Plus, SRJC offers generous financial aid and scholarship programs to help pay your way.

Accredited Courses - All Weekend College Accelerated Degree Program courses are fully accredited and are taught by SRJC’s highly rated faculty members.

Assessment Placement & Counselors – Students should meet with the Weekend College Counselor to individually tailor their program to select the appropriate courses to meet their needs. Please call (707) 527-4375 to schedule an appointment.

Transfer to a Four-year University – Courses offered in this program meet most of the lower division general education requirements for university transfer, depending on the chosen upper division major and the 4-year institution. Additional Class Offerings On Weekend –In addition to the Weekend College Accelerated Degree Program, SRJC offers hundreds of other classes on weekends. You may explore the courses that are currently scheduled on weekends by using the interactive search feature of the online Schedule of Classes. Select “advanced search” for the semester you would like and then scroll down to “Day of the Week.” You can include (or exclude) any day(s) you like!
