may now enroll in Weekend College to earn a degree in five semesters completely
on weekends!

degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences. Earning a college degree couldn’t

A Cohort of Students - When you enroll in Weekend College
you will become a member of a unique group of students that progress through
all classes together. Tutoring, counseling, library access, and other student
support services are available to support your success every step of the
way, plus you can create study groups with other students enrolled in Weekend
College.
Convenient
Class Schedule – Weekend College meets for 12 weekends
a semester on Friday evenings and all day Saturday. Participating students
are expected to attend classes that meet at all of the following times
each weekend: Friday evening 6 – 10 PM; Saturday morning 8 AM to
noon; and Saturday afternoon from 1 to 5 PM.
Associate Degree – Weekend College offers selected courses that
fulfill the lower division major requirements for the Associate in Arts,
Social and Behavioral Sciences degree.
Highly Affordable – Enrollment in Weekend College
is only $20 per unit per course for California residents. Plus, SRJC offers
generous financial aid and scholarship programs, such as the Doyle Scholarship,
to help pay your way.
Accredited Courses - All Weekend College courses are
fully accredited and are taught by SRJC’s highly rated faculty members.
Assessment
Placement & Counselors – Students whose assessment
testing place them in Math 27 or higher or English 1A, should meet
with the Weekend College counselor to individually tailor their program
to select the appropriate courses to meet their needs.
Transfer to a Four-year University – Courses offered
in Weekend College meet most of the lower division general education requirements
for university transfer, depending on the chosen upper division major and
the 4-year institution. See a SRJC counselor for transfer options and requirements.
Additional Class Offerings On Weekend – In addition
to the Weekend College, SRJC offers hundreds of other classes on weekends.
