Career and Technical Education

Small Business Development Center

Sonoma County’s small business owners have direct access to professional business counseling and training through the Small Business Development Center at Santa Rosa Junior College.  Hosted by the college for nearly twenty years, the SBDC supports business start ups, expansions, and operations with business counselors skilled in topics such as marketing, financial analysis, new product development, and managerial supervision.

Economic Development Institute

Over the years, the college has nurtured its strong ties to the business community, initiating cooperative projects with North Bay businesses and providing support to local organizations such as the Sonoma County Economic Development Board and the Sonoma County Workforce Development Board. As local businesses and economic development organizations seek opportunities in the emerging green sector industries, they have a willing, committed partner in SRJC.
