AO:04 "Dare to Care": Disability Accommodations Training Environment
This project is a free interactive multimedia simulative training program in which faculty learn to identify and handle disabled student issues in their on-campus and Distance Learning classes. This project was developed by the Instructional Technology Development Center (ITDC) at Long Beach City College, and funded in part by a three-year grant from the Fund for the Improvement of Post-secondary Education (FIPSE) at the U.S. Department of Education.

AO:06 Sexual Harassment Training
The workshop will be presented by Workplaceanswers.com and includes instruction on Federal and California laws and court decisions regarding liability for sexual harassment, strategies for recognizing and eliminating sexual harassment in the workplace and the in the classroom, strategies for personally confronting situations involving sexual harassment, and exercises focused on understanding and using the above strategies. This instruction is interactive, as the participants can ask questions and receive a response.
