  2. The SRJC Art Gallery - The Santa Rosa Junior College Art Gallery was established in 1973, the first significant exhibition space in the region. The original gallery location was in Bussman Hall on the Santa Rosa Campus, where an old anthropology museum previously existed.
  3. Assesment Services - success in college is very important to everyone at Santa Rosa Junior College. Placement tests will help determine the right place for you to begin your studies at SRJC. You should take the placement tests early in your college career to give you and your counselor valuable information about your skills in English, math and chemistry, so you may develop the best plan for achieving your educational goals.

  5. CalWORKs - Welcome to Santa Rosa Junior College’s CalWORKs Program Web site. The CalWORKs staff is ready to help potential, current, and former TANF recipients attending SRJC. We offer a variety of services and financial resources that can help you cover your educational and living costs while you are a student. Funds are available to pay for books, school supplies, child care, and transportation while you are attending class and working. Eligible students receive specialized counseling and advising services provided by staff who understand the rules and regulations of welfare-to-work programs.
  6. Career Employment Center - Career Development Services at Santa Rosa Junior College promotes career development as a lifelong learning process. Through self-assessment, career exploration, job search assistance, on-campus jobs and the implementation of a career action plan, our programs and activities seek to assist and support enrolled students and alumni in learning about appropriate and satisfying careers, enabling them to participate more fully in a global society.

  8. College Skills -With a commitment to quality, support, and academic excellence, the mission of College Skills/Tutorial is to provide academic instruction and tutoring. Our goal is to improve the academic skills of underprepared students, and: 1. Meet diverse student needs through credit and non-credit classes (including some bilingual--English/ Spanish--classes and vocational English for speakers of other languages.) 2. Encourage independent learning in a supportive environment 3. Challenge students to strive toward their highest potential; 4. Promote students' access to other academic and vocational programs 5. Awaken respect and enthusiasm for learning
  9. Community Education - Community Education courses are offered in addition to the college's instructional program. College credit is not given and there are no grades or tests. No transcripts or applications for admission to the College are required and you do not have to live in the Sonoma County Junior College District to participate. The program is a self-supporting entity of Santa Rosa Junior College and is not funded by taxpayers' dollars. Your registration fees pay for all costs associated with our courses.

  12. SRJC Foundation - The Santa Rosa Junior College Foundation assists individuals who wish to advance the work of Santa Rosa Junior College through private gifts.
    Alumni and Friends Association - Each year the Alumni and Friends Association presents several awards. The Floyd P. Bailey Award, and the Randolph Newman Scholarship Award and the Roy G. Mikalson Scholarship AWard are presented during Day Under the Oaks, the annual open house of Santa Rosa Junior College (first Sunday in May). The Outstanding Faculty Recognition Award is presented in April at a Faculty Recognition Celebration.
    Friends of Petaluma Campus - The purpose of the Santa Rosa Junior College Foundation Friends of the Petaluma Campus committee is to support the educational programs of the SRJC Petaluma Campus through promotional activities and direct contributions. The Friends of the Petaluma Campus functions as a special committee of the Santa Rosa Junior College Foundation
  13. Graphics
    Graphics Services offers prepress, design services, and bindery and finishing services, and has a vast selection of custom and specialty papers, and more.
    Copy Center provides copies and digital prints of classroom materials, tests, handouts and readers to be sold in the Bookstore for faculty, and more.

  14. Health Services - the department operates with the philosophy that good health is essential to student success, and supports this with activities that help integrate all of the elements of a student’s life: physical, emotional, social, spiritual, intellectual, and occupational.

  16. Adult Reentry Services - We attempt, in many ways, to make education more accessible to you, the adult learner, age 25 and older. Our overall purpose and goal is to assist in developing your self-sufficiency and successful accomplishments of your chosen goals.   18. Work Experience / Internship Program - The Work Experience classes at Santa Rosa Junior College connect college education to the workplace. The classes focus on learning and demonstrating 21st century work skills. National and local employers have identified these skills as mandatory to being successful in any type of job. Three of the top skills they have identified include: communication, teamwork, and customer service.

    All Faculty Association (AFA) -site contains information on the AFA/District contract, council members and benfits for faculty.

    This Academic Senate - created to secure the professional rights and to carry out the responsibilities of the faculty of the Sonoma County Junior College District.  The faculty have the traditional right of college faculty to participate in the governance of the college.  As specialists in specific disciplines and as experienced instructors, the participation of the faculty in the governance of the college is essential for the district’s pursuit of its mission.  As professionals, the faculty have the right and a duty to set professional and ethical standards for the conduct of their profession and to promote the excellence of their profession.  In order to achieve these ends and in accordance with Title 5 of the California Administrative Code, Subchapter 2, Sections 53200-53205, this Academic Senate is established.

    The Human Resources Department -handles personnel and employment-related matters for regular, temporary, student, and short-term non-continuing employees totaling over 3,000 people. Services provided include recruiting, hiring, evaluating, employee benefits, worker's compensation reporting, absence tracking and employment verifications.
    Lookup Menu - is a way to check load percentages, check class enrollments, obtain course outlines, find room use information, check enrollment efficiency, and obtain a class roster with student telephone numbers.
    Computing Services - information regarding the status of the computer services for the campus, email access, policies, and pricing of computers, etc.
    CATE - assists faculty with creating and maintaining online classes and Web-based instructional materials, and CATE provides information and resources for SRJC faculty and students who participate in Web-based teaching and learning.
