Classified Staff Development Committee (CSDC)
- Involves classified staff in the planning and integration
of staff development programs;
- Supports programs for personal and professional development;
- Assists in the continued development of programs
and processes for the recognition of classified staff's contribution
within the District including leadership and professional development.

Faculty Professional Development Committee
- Conducts New Faculty Orientation;
- Consults regularly with the Academic Senate to develop
programs responsive to the professional needs of faculty at SRJC;
- Has primary responsibility for faculty development
at SRJC;
- Oversees Improvement of Instruction Project Grants (When funding is available)
- Recommends faculty for specific faculty development
opportunities.
Management Professional Development Committee
- Represents all levels of administration;
- Assesses staff development needs and implements effective
programs for managers and administrators.
Professional Development Committee (PDC)
- Organizes the Professional Development Activity Day Program;
- Approves specific activities associated with the Human Resources Development Plan;
- Develops staff development policy by encouraging thorough discussions among all District staff;
- Sets staff development goals, both immediate and long range;
- Coordinates the District staff development program;
- Reviews the functioning of all committees concerned with staff development matters
- Oversees the flex calendar program for the District.

Safety and Health Awareness Program for Employees (SHAPE)
Committee (currently an inactive committee)
- Designs a comprehensive wellness and safety program
for SRJC employees;
- Educates employees on wellness and accident/injury
prevention;
- Provides inspiration and motivation for employees
to make healthy and safe lifestyle choices;
- Promotes and supports employees' healthy lifestyle
choices;
- Evaluates all programs, overall plan, improvement
in employee wellness, and reduction of injury and illness rates.
