Greetings to all Faculty and Staff!
Greetings and thanks to our devoted staff who have been preparing our beautiful Sonoma County Junior College District campuses and centers during the summer, and welcome back to our SRJC colleagues returning for the start of the 2008-09 academic year. For those of you who are new to the college, you will soon realize that the SRJC community is just that…a community of colleagues who share a passion for students and a commitment to life-long learning!
This fall’s PDA theme is “SRJC: A Learning-Centered Community.” The District’s continued attention to our Student Learning Outcomes, our Accreditation self-study, and accountability is evidence of how being learning-centered is truly at our core. On PDA Day, please join your SRJC colleagues for an opportunity to expand your horizons by attending your choice of topics at the workshops being offered. We also look forward to the annual fall President’s Address from Dr. Agrella, as well hearing from our Academic Senate and Classified Senate Presidents. Our Keynote Address is Coping with Misconduct in the College Classroom by noted author and speaker, Dr. Gerald Amada.
So, once again, welcome and welcome back! We’ll look forward to seeing you on Friday, August 15 for PDA Day – the start of another exciting year at Santa Rosa Junior College – another year of growth and improvement in our learning-centered community.
