A Message from the President
Greetings to all Faculty and Staff!
I invite you to join us at the Spring 2014 Professional Development Activity day on Thursday February 13. Our theme this fall is "Cultivating Success in Our Diverse Communities" which highlights the current phase in our strategic planning process; drawing the road map to achieve our vision and goals for the future of Santa Rosa Junior College.
Every year, fall brings the excitement and energy of a new academic year, with new faces, ideas, and restored creativity. I encourage us all to harness that renewed energy as we set the course that will move this great institution forward to the future we have collectively defined. As we begin anew in the accreditation review process, we are provided with yet another forum for us to reflect on our goals, accomplishments, and opportunities this year.
The Professional Development Committee and SRJC community of presenters have developed a comprehensive program for this full-day event designed to address the diverse interests and needs of our community. In addition to workshops to inform and involve those interested in the institutional goals of strategic planning and accreditation, we have developed a diverse schedule of leadership, technology, teaching and learning, and health and wellness programming. Through this expanded content, we provide an opportunity for each person to build skills and gain the support, knowledge, or inspiration to join in “Cultivating Success in Our Diverse Communities” at SRJC.
