Social Science is the study of society and the human relationships within a society. The Social Sciences at Santa Rosa Junior College specifically embrace the disciplines of Economics, History, and Political Science. A Special Studies course in Social Science is also offered. However, Social Science courses often have a multidisciplinary approach and integrate a wide variety of studies ranging from Anthropology to Statistics. The Social Sciences are classical disciplines and are traditionally required for anyone who seeks the honor of earning a college or university degree.
