Our Purpose
The purpose of International Education at Santa Rosa Junior College is to offer a variety of programs and services that will provide students, faculty, and the community at large with the knowledge, skills, and cultural experiences necessary to become well prepared members of a global society. Additionally, the international education programs at Santa Rosa Junior College promote and encourage the internationalization of the college by fostering mutual understanding, facilitating preparation of the world of work, and supporting lifelong learning through activities that provide opportunities for participation in the international community.
Santa Rosa Junior College conducts many of its Study Abroad programs with partners, to increase learning opportunities for our students::
- Northern California Study Abroad Consortium - includes Contra Costa Community College District; Los Rios Community College District; San Mateo Community College District; and SRJC
- College of Marin - an associate member of the Northern California Study Abroad Consortium, providing study abroad options for College of Marin Students
- American Instiute for Foreign Study (AIFS) - primary logistical support for Study Abroad, an SRJC partner for over 20 years
