- Robert J. Whiting Tech Trade or Vocational Students
Scholarships – 4 awards at $450 each
Criteria
- Adult reentry student (have reentered college after a significant lapse of time since last formal education).
- Must have completed a total of at least 12 units at SRJC.
- Must be enrolled as a part-time student at SRJC, enrolled in between 6 and 11.5 graded units for Fall semester. Note: Full-time students
are not eligible for these awards.
- Must plan to continue at SRJC during the following Spring semester, enrolling in at least 6 graded units.
- Financial need is considered.
- Overall SRJC Grade Point
Average: 2.75 or higher.
Offered for the Full-Time Adult Reentry Student
- Marie Griffith Bailey Memorial Reentry Scholarships
(for transferring students) – 2 awards at $600
- Melissa Brown Reentry Scholarship – 1
award at $500
- Petaluma Women’s Club – 1
award at $500
- Ruth Bailey Peletz Multi-Year
Award (for transferring students) – $2,500 per year renewable
up to 5 years
- Ruth Bailey Peletz Adult Scholarship – 4 awards
at $1,500
- Single Parent Reentry Scholarship – 1 award at $50
- SRJC Women’s Staff and Faculty Support Network Reentry Scholarships – 2
awards at $350
- Tamarya Hulme Scholarship for Reentry Women – 1 award at $350
Criteria
- Adult reentry student (have reentered college after a significant lapse of
time since last formal education).
- Must be enrolled in at least 12 graded units.
- Must have completed a total of at least 12 units at SRJC.
- A minimum overall Grade Point Average of 2.50 is recommended for continuing
students.
- For transferring students, a minimum overall SRJC Grade Point Average of 3.00 and completion of at least 56 transferable units (24 of these units must have been completed at SRJC) by the end of the Spring Semester is required.
- For continuing students, must plan to continue at SRJC during the following
Fall semester, enrolling in at least 12 graded units.
- Financial need is considered.
