HONORARY DEGREES

The Sonoma County Junior College District shall maintain procedures for the granting of Honorary Degrees.
An Honorary Degree from Santa Rosa Junior College shall be presented to those individuals whose outstanding personal, professional, or philanthropic donations to the institution provide for the continuance of excellence in educational programs, facilities, or any other activity associated with the District's Mission and Goals.
The awarding of an Honorary Degree will take place with the joint approval of the Academic Senate and the Office of the Superintendent/President.
