COMMUNICATION WITH THE PUBLIC (PUBLIC INFORMATION PROGRAM)
ADOPT: APRIL 8, 1985
REVIEWED: APRIL 10, 2001
The Board establishes a public information program and designates the Public
Information Officer to obtain the following District goals:
- To gather and disseminate all relevant information about the District in
view of the principle that in a political and social democracy the public is
entitled to be fully informed about public institutions.
- To increase public recognition of the District's superior levels of
instruction - both academic and occupational.
- To maintain communication among all internal segments of the College
community.
- To enhance the prestige of the instructional program.
- To enhance the prestige of the faculty.
