In order to maintain and provide for continuing high quality instruction and competent job performance at all levels of District staff, it is the policy of the Board of Trustees that all employees shall be evaluated on a regular basis as provided by law.

The parameters and particulars of all faculty evaluations and procedures for obtaining tenure are outlined in the Contract between the recognized faculty bargaining units and the District. Procedures for evaluating classified staff are outlined in the recognized bargaining contract between the Classified unit and the District.

Procedures for evaluating administrative employees are covered in District Policy 2.2.
