FIELD TRIPS

- Students are responsible for missed work. Moreover, while it is hoped that
there is a degree of cooperation, instructors are not obliged to provide
make-up opportunities.
- Notice of an impending field trip must be sent out at least two weeks prior
to the trip. Such notice should include the name of the class, the
instructor, and the date and duration of the field trip.
- The supervision responsibilities of an instructor in charge of a field trip
extend the entire trip, and are not confined to that portion to actual
teaching.
- The use, possession, sale or distribution of narcotics, hallucinogenic drugs
or substances, or any poison classified as such by section 4160 of the
Business and Professional code, on College property, or at any College
sponsored event, is prohibited.
