THE COLLEGE CALENDAR

The calendar shall show the beginning and ending of school dates, legal and local holidays, orientation meeting days, number of teaching days, vacation periods, and other pertinent dates.
After reviewing the recommendations of the Calendar Committee and the College Council, the Superintendent/President shall recommend to the Board of Trustees a calendar that will meet the requirements of the law as well as the needs of the community, students, staff, and program of instruction.
The Board of Trustees may declare a holiday when good reason exists.
