SRJC INSTRUCTIONAL FACILITIES SCHEDULING AND PLANNING

The District will plan and schedule classroom space in a manner that maximizes efficient use of existing facilities. The District acknowledges the need to consider a wide variety of learning styles and pedagogical techniques.
Although supervising administrators have the responsibility to supervise the development of the schedule of classes, the process for scheduling classrooms will take place in a timely, collaborative manner among department chairs, the supervising administrators and the Scheduling Technician. "Classrooms" shall refer to any room or area of the campus designated as instructional space (lecture halls, laboratories, studios, playing fields, etc.).
