Tired of driving to the Bay Area for technical certification training?
The professional grade technical certifications
you need for career advancement are offered through the Santa Rosa Junior College Technology Academy.
Cisco Certifications
The Technology Academy is proud
to announce our CCNP, CCSP seminar series. In partnership with Todd Lammle and LammlePress, the Technology Academy is
offering professional grade training that will provide you with everything you need to pass your CCNP and CCSP exams.
Throughout our four seminars for CCNP, you will gain
the knowledge to install, configure and operate LANs, WANS and dial access services for organizations with networks from 100 to
more than 500 nodes. If security is your interest the CCSP series provides network professionals with the knowledge to
design and implement Cisco secure networks.
Understanding how to configure routers, switches and
remote access is important, and our CCNP students gain that experience by training on 3 Routers and 2 Switches per student.
Check out our lab rack configuration here (.pdf). Students telnet to dedicated racks
and do not share equipment! Plus, we offer more lab time than any of our competitors with over 50 labs! We encourage
students to bring their own laptops to take full advantage of our labs after class each day.
For CCSP, we want to ensure students learn to configure routers, switches, PIX firewalls and VPN concentrators correctly, and our
CCSP students gain that experience in several intense labs. Again, our students do not share equipment!
Wireless
This course will take you through the radio technologies associated with WLAN 802.11 standards, bridge
topologies and applications. In addition, you will learn how to configure WLAN products including access points,
bridges, client devices and accessories. Although focused on the Cisco Aironet software and management
features, you will also gain an understanding of the security risks that exist when deploying wireless networks
and the considerations, methodologies and tools that allow such risks to be mitigated.
Through real-world deployment simulations, our vendor neutral security-focused training will provide you with
hands-on experience implementing these tools and methodologies and will provide you with the in-depth
knowledge required to design, deploy, and maintain a secure wireless infrastructure.
Computer Forensics
This 5-day seminar is designed for those without previous experience in computer forensics. Security personnel,
IT officers, auditors, network engineers and administrators, technical CEOs and law enforcement are all benefit
from the skills gained in this seminar.
As an introduction to the preservation of digital evidence, course topics will include: Computer crime, expert
technical witness, preserving computer evidence, safely seizing/obtaining computers, using hashing algorithms,
identifying file types, file slack, disk geometry, data hiding methods, forensic tools, imaging, restoring and proper documentation methods.
You should have intermediate level DOS experience, at least one certification or equivalent work experience in
each computer and software support or networking (A+, Network+, CCNA, MCSE) and must agree with and sign
the CyberSecurity Institute Code of Ethics and Conduct.
