Here's what some of our partners are saying about us:

"We needed a strong educational component in order to help make our company and the community stronger... The Tech Academy provides us with a state-of-the-art facility so our employees can get current and stay current on the latest technology."
- Ron Morgan, Director Human Resources, Alcatel USA

"The Tech Academy is a great source for our employees to get training was well as local people to learn skills to fill jobs in our company."
- Michael Hatfield, President and CEO Calix Networks

"The Tech Academy has great value to nearly any business using computers. We've been through an extreme shortage of people with technology skills, which has impacted our business plans."
- Michael Troy, President of Knowledgepoint and Chairman of the Northbay Technology Roundtable

One of the most unique aspects of SRJC's Technology Academy is the strong support it receives from corporate sponsors from local business and industry. When the Technology Academy was established in 2001, the initial sponsors included Advanced Fibre Communications, ALCATEL USA, Basin-Street Properties, Calix Networks, Cisco, Nokia, SBC/DataComm, and the Sonoma County Office of Economic Development. Since then the Technology Academy has continued to develop corporate partners to offer business and industry the most current, high quality training and educational options that ensure that business and industry employees attain and maintain valuable workplace skills.

The academy's flexible class offerings also give students the opportunity to directly meet employees from local companies to learn firsthand about employment opportunities throughout the region. It is through close collaboration with local corporations that the Technology Academy can best meet the changing training needs of North Bay technology companies.

We invite corporations to become Technology Academy sponsors to help us bring the most relevant classes to their high tech workforce. Contact the Technology Academy Director Scott Aherns at 775-2861 or saherns@santarosa.edu to discuss the importance of becoming a corporate sponsor if SRJC's Technology Academy.
