Is ICDL a new program?

The program is new to the U.S., but ICDL has been operating with great success in over 50 other countries, with total registered participants approaching 1.5 million and growing. It is rapidly becoming a global computer literacy standard.

ICDL is a program for anyone who wants and needs to use a personal computer competently. Participation requires no prior knowledge of Information Technology (IT) concepts or computer operating experience.
