Initial corporate sponsors included Advanced Fibre Communications, ALCATEL USA, Basin-Street Properties, Calix Networks, Cisco, Nokia, SBC/DataComm, and the Sonoma County Office of Economic Development. In addition to the training and educational opportunities available at the Technology Academy, students have the opportunity to learn more about local companies and meet some of their employees - an important part of getting a job in the geographic area as well as your area of expertise.
