This
course of study helps prepare the student to take the Cisco
Certified Network Associate industry certification test. The
CCNA certification indicates a foundation in and apprentice
knowledge of networking for one – 200 hosts. Courses
are taught at the Cisco Networking Academy and follow the
Cisco Academy curriculum.
Some
students may complete these courses as a way to prepare for
the Cisco networking exam. Others will enroll as a way to
improve their career options or as an avenue for advancement
in their current jobs. As students who have completed these
courses go out into our community, we expect employers to
recognize the high skill level that this certification represents.
The requirements for this certificate are effective beginning
the semester shown below. If you started working on this certificate
before the effective semester, you may not be affected by
any changes to the program. Consult with the program advisor
to determine your eligibility to complete the certificate
under previous requirements.
