SHORT STORY CRITICISM  
The following books will help you find criticism on short stories and drama.  Some of these works contain the actual criticism, while others will list books or journal articles where you can find criticism.  If you are referred to other books look them up by author or title in the library catalog (OPAC) to see if they are in our library.  If you are referred to magazine articles, check our electronic databases and the SRJC HOLDINGS LIST to see if we have those journals.  Titles we do not have may be ordered through inter-library loan.

Extensive excerpts are given from criticism of the greatest short story writers of all time.  Some biographical information is included.  Each volume has a title and an author index which refers you to this set as well as others such as Contemporary Literary Criticism.

English language dramatists, primarily of the 20th century, are presented here.  Analysis of their work, biographical information and bibliographies for further reading are also included.  Volume 6 contains essays on various aspects of drama and an index.
