Welcome Center

During the summer months, SRJC offers a Welcome Center at the Santa Rosa and Petaluma campuses. Counselors and staff are there to help new students find the information and support they need to make a smooth transition to SRJC. We help you with applications, assessment information, registration for orientations, locating support services, information about our programs and assistance in registering for classes. In order to register for classes you must have an Application for Admission on file.

Who can apply for admission?

You can file an application if:

• You are 18 years of age or older and can benefit from the instructional curriculum of the college.

• You are a high school graduate or holder of the Certificate of Proficiency even if younger than 18 years of age. (You must also have a consent for medical treatment on file at the Admissions Office if you are under 18.)

• You are still enrolled in high school and have met the requirements of the concurrent enrollment program. Consult your high school counselor for more details.

If you are a new student or a returning student after a one-year's absence you must submit an application for admission.

• Use our online application at www.santarosa.edu. Choose Admissions & Application under Apply & Register.

• By mail to the Admissions, Records, and Enrollment Management Office, SRJC, 1501 Mendocino Avenue, Santa Rosa CA 95401.

• Fax a completed application to (707) 527-4798.

• In person at the Santa Rosa or Petaluma campuses.

Applications are available at the above locations, in the printed schedule of classes, or on the web. Once the application has been received and processed you will be able to register during open registration.
