Priority registration is a system which allows students to register for classes before open registration begins for each semester. New and returning students can earn priority by completing an orientation. Students who complete this orientation and submit the quiz earn Priority 5. Students who complete COUN 270, Introduction to College, earn Priority 4. Continuing students (those students who are currently attending Santa Rosa Junior College) are assigned earlier priority registration times. These registrations times are determined by:
* Units on file include: Completed units at Santa Rosa Junior College, in progress units for the current semester, and transferred units from other institutions. Registration Priority Important Information: Beginning with Spring 2012 semester registration, only units earned (completed and/or in-progress) at Santa Rosa Junior College will be used to determine a student’s registration priority level. Units transferred to SRJC, including AP units, WILL NOT be used when determining a student’s priority.
Priority 1 students will have the first registration times, followed by Priority 1A, 2, 3, 4, and 5 in that order. Open registration begins after completion of priority registration. All students are able to register during open registration. Summer priority registration is a simplified system and does not allow for a Priority 1A level. Note: EOPS students, DSPS (disability) students, and military students qualify for an earlier registration and should work with these respective services. |
Santa Rosa Junior College is officially accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges
