Career & Technical Education Programs

Occupational training programs, now called Career Technical Education (CTE), offer a wide range of career possibilities. SRJC offers over 160 certificate and degree programs to help you prepare for a career. There is a broad range of programs that include public safety, business, computer, culinary, auto, agricultural, and health care programs.

CTE programs vary in length. The shorter programs (17 units or less) are focused on development of specific skills. Longer programs prepare students for specific careers and vary from 18 units to 40 or more units in length. Programs that are offered as Certificate programs do not require completion of general education courses. Programs that are offered as Associate Degree programs also require completion of general education courses.
