You will need to have a working e-mail account to receive communication from the college. It is best to have your own e-mail address. If you do not have your own, you can opt to be assigned a free e-mail by CCCApply.

• The initial step of the application process is to create an account with CCCApply. Click on “New User”. You will choose a user name and password for this account. Please keep this information in a safe place. Once you have created an account with CCCApply, you are ready to begin the application to SRJC. If you have previously used CCCApply for this or any other California community college, you may log on without creating a new account by using your existing name and password. If you have forgotten your username and/or password, you will have to contact the XAP Corporation at 1-800-GO-TO-XAP.
• From CCCApply you will be taken to the SRJC application. The application is a 9 step process. To go to the next step of the application click on “Save & Continue” at the bottom of each page. You can change information or even save and log out before submitting the application. Use the “Help” link if needed.

You will receive both your SID and PIN number by emails after completing the application. You will need these numbers to access your portal. The first time you access your student portal, you will be promoted to choose your own PIN code. Keep your SID and your PIN code in a safe and secure place. From your student portal, you will be able to add and drop classes, access your student records, and make changes to your personal information such as your e-mail address.
