PROGRAM

Refresher course to update skills of the EMT-1 in compliance with the requirements outlined by the State of California Admin. Code. Utilization of basic principles learned as an EMT in the exploration & solving of problems in the pre-hospital setting.

DATE

The requirements for this certificate are effective beginning the semester shown below. If you began working on this certificate before the effective semester, you may not be affected by any changes to the program. Consult with a counselor or department chair to determine your eligibility to complete the certificate under previous requirements.

A Certificate of Completion will be granted upon fulfillment of this two unit refresher course. This certificate will fulfill Calif. EMSA testing mandates.
