Rules that apply to acceptance of submitted URL's:
(1) Only new URL's not already submitted by other students will be accepted.
(2) No URL's that duplicate those already existing in the BioLinks Center will be accepted.
(3) URL's must be academic scientific sites at the college level. Those designed for children or entertainment are not acceptable.
(4) Academic submitted sites must be concerned with organisms, not research organizations and their staff unless the site also contains scientific information about the organisms ( those web sites having photographs and/or drawings are especially desirable.).
(5) Web sites that are too brief may be rejected.
(6) Web sites that are focused on forestry, agriculture, medicine or other human purposes MAY not be acceptable.
(7) A total of six submitted URL's may be counted for a maximum of 30 extra credit points (acceptable sites only).NOTE !! As of 11/1/04, many of the URL's listed below have not yet been compared to the URL's already in the BioLinks Center. If any are found to duplicate URL's already listed in BioLinks, it will be rejected in the near future
