Connecting to Library Resources from Off Campus

If you have access to the Internet from your home or office computer, you may search the SRJC Library's catalog and use Library's webpages and Internet Reference Collection.

In addition, if you are a currently enrolled SRJC student or a current SRJC faculty or staff member, you may use the Library's online article databases and its e-books from off campus. Due to our license agreements with the database and e-book publishers, we are not allowed to give access to non SRJC students or faculty. To prove to the remote computers that you are a legitimate SRJC user of the databases, you must first apply for an SRJC User Name and PIN. Then when using the databases, select the "Off campus" link for the database of your choice instead of the "On campus" link. You will be prompted for your User Name and PIN, the computer will check to be sure it is valid, and once you've been authenticated, you will be able to search the Library's databases just as if you were on campus.

In case you are not a current SRJC student or staff member, the Sonoma County Public Library offers access to its collection of online article databases to all Sonoma County residents with a Sonoma County Library card.
