NoodleBib:

image of man clicking heelsLet NOODLEBIB prepare your list of works cited! Easy to learn; easy to use! You put in the information for your list of works cited (authors, titles, etc.), and NoodleBib will put it in the correct order with the correct punctuation, in either the MLA or the APA style.

Here's how to get started:

Step 1: Set up a free account.

image of noodlebib setup page Watch a video on how to do it.

Note: Be SURE to write down your NoodleBib login ID and password. The Library cannot reset your password if you forget it, and without it you will not be able to access the lists of works cited which you've already begun.

Step 2: Use your new NoodleBib login ID and password, from anywhere.

Step 3: Once you've logged in,

  • Click the "Create a new list" button.
  • Choose MLA Advanced or APA Advanced style, then put the name of your new list in the "Description" box.
  • Click "Create list."
  • Use the pull down menus and buttons on the following screens to enter the information about books or article you are citing.
  • Create as many citations as you like.
  • When you're ready to print your list of works cited, click the "Save as Word Doc" button.
  • Follow the instructions to export and print your list of works cited.
  • Not sure what to do next at some point? Just click the "Help" button near the top of the screen.
  • You can work on several different lists, and you can save lists and come back to them later.
  • When you're finished using NoodleBib, don't forget to sign out.
