Botanical Art Exhibition

Sebastopol LeavesDoyle Library, Santa Rosa Junior College | September 2-30, 2014

Fourteen Sonoma County botanical artists exhibit their paintings in the Doyle Library during the month of September. The artists work in colored pencil on a variety of papers and films. They meet regularly in Sebastopol and are currently working on a project honoring the work or Luther Burbank. The show at the library represents work done throughout the year depicting seasonal flowers and fruits. Also on display are study sheets and materials used by the artists in their work. The show is coordinated by Nina Antze who teaches through SRJC Community Education. Nina is offering a class on Drawing Autumn Leaves in Colored Pencil on November 1st.
