Some Local Internet Service Providers

AddThis Social Bookmark Button

Access to the Internet is provided by companies called Internet Service Providers, or "ISPs." These companies generally charge a one-time set-up fee and a monthly subscription fee for their services. Internet service providers generally offer subscribers access to Internet e-mail and World Wide Web search tools. In addition, some providers offer free space for users to create their own web pages.

Current SRJC students may apply for a student account. Current faculty and staff may apply for an Outlook E-Mail Account.

There are also many non-SRJC Internet service providers. Listed below are a few of the local Internet providers popular with SRJC students and faculty. (NOTE: The SRJC Library does not recommend or endorse any particular Internet providers; this list is offered simply as a convenience for those shopping for an off-campus service provider.) Be sure to ask a prospective provider about all charges you might incur for services, as well as about what types of support (i.e. help) the vendor provides.
