University of California Agriculture and Natural Resources Statewide Integrated Pest Management Program
A treasure trove of practical information on California pests, from nematodes, ants, wasps, snails, slugs and fruit flies to squirrels, raccoons, moles, rats and skunks. Detailed information sheets describe the biology and life cycle of each pest, how to identify it, what injury or damage it causes, how to manage the pest problem.

AGRICOLA
From the National Agricultural Library and cooperating organizations, AGRICOLA lists publications and resources encompassing all aspects of agriculture and allied disciplines, including animal and veterinary sciences, entomology, plant sciences, forestry, aquaculture and fisheries, farming and farming systems, agricultural economics, extension and education, food and human nutrition, and earth and environmental sciences. Although AGRICOLA does not contain the materials, thousands of AGRICOLA records are linked to online full-text documents, with new links being added every day
FAO World Agricultural Information Centre - Information Finder
This digital resource center from the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) allows you to search its extensive collection of documents, webpages, photos and press releases by word(s) or browse them by selecting from a menu of topics. A wide variety of topics is covered, in areas such as agricultural administration and legislation, animal production, economic development, fishery, forestry, human nutrition, plant science and production, pollution and more.
SustainableAg.net
This website, designed to serve as a statewide educational resource for the many aspects of sustainable agriculture, is hosted and maintained by SRJC's Agriculture and Natural Resources Department. The site offers a glossary of terms, links to various agricultural programs in higher education, K-12 programs and curricula, and information on organizations, conferences and events related to sustainable agriculture. There are examples of successful sustainable communities in California, as well as links to agricultural labor organizations, and even art concerned with sustainable agriculture.

Monitoring Sudden Oak Death
The University of California's Sudden Oak Death Research Team offers information on the fungal disease Phytophthora which is killing California's oak trees in large numbers. Symptoms and causes are discussed, and the site includes numerous photographs and maps which show the distribution of trees and of the disease within the state. Links to news stories and pending legislation are also provided. Users can even submit information online concerning locations of trees with the disease.
California Oak Mortality Task Force
Learn which counties are infected, become familiar with specific symptoms, find out what plants are affected, learn how to report an infected site, learn about current regulations and quarantines, learn about recent research, sign up for a monthly newsletter and more. Includes an image library, a slide show, and a diagnostic guide.
Weeds Gone Wild: Alien Plant Invaders of Natural Areas
From the National Plant Conservation Initiative, this site offers a national list of invasive plants which infest natural areas in the U.S. as well as illustrated fact sheets with plant descriptions, native range, distriubtion and habitat, management options, alternative native plants and linkst to plant control experts.
