![]() WELCOME The Work Experience classes at Santa Rosa Junior College connect college education to the workplace. The classes focus on learning and demonstrating 21st century work skills. National and local employers have identified these skills as mandatory to being successful in any type of job. Three of the top skills they have identified include: communication, teamwork, and customer service. STEPS TO ENROLLING IN A WORK EXPERIENCE CLASS
1. Students must pick up a Work Experience handbook: *Handbooks available in Santa Rosa at the Work Experience office, 1440 Bussman Hall (Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm) or Petaluma Campus, 601 Call Hall (hours vary); during summer semester, Student Handbooks are at the Petaluma Admissions and Records offce. 2. ALL STUDENTS ENROLLED IN A WORK EXPERIENCE CLASS MUST COMPLETE
3. Complete Orientation Orientation Information ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Summer 2009 Orientation Schedule (Work Experience Students, please note: No in-person orientations in Summer semester). Summer Students: Please pick up your Student Handbook during the first week of summer classes at the A&R office, Petaluma Campus, or Work Experience office, 1440 Bussman Hall, Santa Rosa campus.
